Originally opened as "The New Palace Theatre" on October 4, 1926, the flagship of vaudeville's legendary Orpheum Circuit underwent a multi-million dollar renovation and restoration in 1999. On November 12, 1999, the Chicago Theatre District celebrated its newest jewel with the grand reopening of the magnificently restored Cadillac Palace.
